The Welcome Committee

Welcome to all that Hexham has to offer, whether you are new to town or learning to live here in a new situation. Discover what Hexham has to offer and find people to enjoy it with at the Welcome Committee.

It can be daunting doing the things you love, or finding something new to love, on your own. Do you enjoy trips to the theatre or cinema? Or going for long walks in the fells? Find like minded people to enjoy these and much more. Each week we will be joined by a speaker from a local group to inspire you to try something new or get involved with a group.

Meetings are free but a donation is welcome for teas and coffees.

Your health and wellbeing remains our top priority, so please rest assured that all the necessary health and safety precautions are being implemented. We have followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, have a Risk Assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

Hand sanitiser is available in all rooms and the wearing of face masks is a personal choice. If official guidelines change we will act accordingly.
